The founders of Π∩ϟ were inspired by Eric Weinstein's Portal Podcast episode and traveled to the Pacific Science Institute run by American theoretical physicist Garrett Lisi. During their time in Hawaii, the founders hacked together a white paper. Upon returning to Canada, their white paper got them in the door at Velocity where they applied for the COVID-19 Solutions Program. Π∩ϟ was accepted into Velocity in April, 2020. The promising results of subsequent experiments validated the potential of their innovative approach, leading to Π∩ϟ's success in the Velocity Fund Pitch Competition at the end of the year. Since then, our team has been dedicated to the development of a computational molecular radar system.
